The Ultimate 4 Day Experience
The CSULB Journalism camp turned out to be an awsome experience.
It took place over a four day period, and it was a great learning experience for every young high school student.
The Web Design class itself was broken down very well for the students. It was broken up into four parts..
1. Introduction: This went over the goals of the class, and it helped the students get to know each other.
2. Traffic: How to get papers out and recognized.
3. Media: How to make websites better, how to advertise.
4. Interview: The students went out and became acquainted with the campus and college attendees.
This was in fact the ultimate experience in a four day package!

International Students
CSULB is a fairly large campus, and it seems to be big enough to house the Globe!
International students in search of education find CSULB to be very open. Infact, the campus’ Career and Develpment Center interacts with large amounts of international students.
Anne Talavera, Housing Coordinator, was recently video taped and recorded when she was interviewed on August 10, 2011.
Apparently, they admit the most exchange students in the fall. Furthermore, they make students feel comfortable by explaining the Visa and Application process.
CSULB is really dedicated to helping all types of student!
CSULB Womens Volleyball
Turns out CSULB doesn’t only have a big campus, but it has big girls equipped with it.
The Volleyball girls are huge, well as far as height they are. The Girls are division one Champions and train vigorously on practice days. The group of girls spoke of the team, Alma Serna among the faction. Serna mentioned the up and coming Volleyball game against the schools Alumni. Excitement was in the air once the news was releasd about the famous player Misty May Treanor was among the Alumni.
The girls are not only Champions, but they are on their way to join the hall of fame.

Student-In-Waiting
Is Stephen Chae a student at Long Beach University, or is he a student-in-waiting?
Chae seems to be an everyday hardworking college student, but he can’t get the classes he needs.
Chae’s major is Micro-Biology, but he said “I’m just an ordinary guy”.
However, in deeper discussion, when asked about his classes Chae responded ” I won’t know untill I finally catch a class! Man, these classes are packed!”
Chae said there was a “rally on tuition next to the Coffee Bean,” and that a small group of people were standing with their picket signs, enraged about the rising tuition.
If Chae can’t get enough people at these college rallies, Chae might be a student-in-waiting for a long time!
Early Learning!
Entering into the new world of journalism, well at-least it’s new for me. Besides the hour long trip, and the early wake in the morning; entering the Web Design class at the college camp sparked new excitement in my life. However, even though I was excited my nerves were on the edge, ” Who will I see, will my teacher be strict, or will I feel completely fall blank throughout the workshop”? Turns out, there was no need to worry. In fact, my favorite part about the class was how laid back it was. The teacher was chill and the students were chill!
